Response to Mac

Mac,
Setting up these meetings may be needed for some lenders, but I must say NOT FOR ME. I HAVE NOT lost any FAITH or TRUST in you! I believe in you and your committment to me. I know that when you can get back to work, and stop screwing around with all the interruptions from lenders, lawyers, BISCA, etc. you will fullfill your committments. It may not be at the exact time as the agreement was written, but that in my opinion that was not your fault one little bit!!! In time you will find your way as you have in the past.
It breaks my heart that you and your family have been put through this. In all the years that "Birth of Innocence" has been in development - you have never waivered in your committments to lenders. You are a good man and please try to remember that not everyone agrees with the negative crap that is being slung.
Sincerely,
J. L. F.

  1. From my perspective, from numerous contacts in our large group, insults are not coming from one direction nor aimed in one direction. As in most conflict, there will be sensitivity to incoming negativities, and justifications with throwing negative comments out. I think it is great to have passion behind your opinion and it is good to remind people that not everyone thinks the same, but this is not a validation of "right" vs. "wrong". I am thinking of those in our group that appear to be suffering far more than Mac - physically/financially. At least one lender is now without a home. Mac remains in a comfortable home and while he struggles legally, he doesn't appear be suffering in his physical needs. Mac continues to receive assistance from family and friends - which is great! But what about the other people affected by this ordeal? How do we show them that we care about their suffering as well? It is not by referring to them as "interruptions" ...my opinion is that we listen to their stories with the same compassion we grant Mac.

  2. Sharon, yes, other people are affected negatively by this situation.

My point is, making Mac suffer more, longer, with additional legal woes will not save them from their problems, nor will it ensure getting repaid any sooner.

On the other hand, putting out good energy for the completion of the legal situation and the project itself, WILL definitely help everyone get what they want sooner.

So, can we just get to that place, NOW?
